List 10 Anime/Manga Females that you like, or at least think are tolerable. Then write something about them-your first impression, something you like, something you DON'T like, whatever.
1. [Matantei Loki Ragnarok] Mayura: For someone who embodies fairly generic disliked anime girl cliches, Mayura manages to not annoy me. Her 'FUSHIGI MYSTERY' can upon occasion make me wince still though.
2. [Pretear] Himeno: Himeno is just really special, for a lot of people I think. One reason I like her alot is because even without being a Pretear, Himeno knows how to defend herself.
3. [BSSM] Usagi: One quick clarification-the Usagi I'm really fond of is more Manga!Usagi. Yes, another should-be-annoying-but-isn't character. Most of the time. She's a character who I can see talking about love and how it important it is, and about saving others, and it doesn't come off as trite to me.
4. [Count Cain] Merryweather: Merry makes me rather happy, particularly since her introduction was 'kill Cain'. But then again, most people in the manga seem to ultimately have that goal at some point or another. She's a very complex character-but she's still just a kid.
5. [Garasu No Kamen] Maya: I'm not even sure I can describe why I like Maya. She's a sweet girl, who is dumb and naive, and yes, a klutz. But she's stubborn and hardworking, to the point of endangering herself.
6. [Magic Knight Rayearth] Fuu: I have to say-her interaction between Ferio really clinched this one for me. I always thought she was cute, and then I realized she was really astute. Then she showed a bit of her morbid side and I loved her.
7. [Tokyo Babylon] Hokuto: She encourages the gay, makes sure Subaru dresses well, and is one of the bravest characters I can think of.
8. [Demon Diary] Erutis: She's a very brave, strong woman who has unchallenged sword skills... and is quite capable of showing when she's absolutely terrified, doesn't really know how to clean or cook, and again, encourages the gay of Raenef and Eclipse. Oh, and she has a
9. [Vampire Game] Ishtar: Oh, how I love this girl. She can be selfish, and spoiled, and a brat, but she cares so much for people it hurts.
10. [Spirited Away] Chihiro: Frankly, I could totally see myself acting the way Chihiro does in the beginning of the movie. In fact, I KNOW that's how I'd pretty much act at her age. Moving is a huge deal at any age, and kids do not have the experience and self-control to do well under the stress of moving. At least, not kids who are unused to it.
Not all anime girls are useless, annoying, or evil.
